Will the AI future be a better one?
Artificial intellegence has been a hot topic recently, from competing with our labor force, to skewing the results of elections, it seems most publicity hasn't been positive.  Future of Life recently published an article regarding just that seperating fact from fiction! Here's a chart explaining fact from fiction: So at the end of the day, it seems the future of Artificial Intelligence isn't all that far off from how Sci-Fi movies have envisioned. Consciousness is unlikely, but a goal oriented Artificial System with goals mis-aligned with ours is very much a cause for concern.
